Put your two proposals to work
Call one proposal A and the other B. Use only what is written in each document. If you have to guess, leave the answer at “Not clear.” That is the point of this exercise: turn assumptions into a short list of questions.
This worksheet stays in this page. Nothing is sent to Maverick, and your entries clear when you leave.
Add both totals to see the price difference alongside your scope check.
“Included” alone does not mean equivalent. Confirm quantities, exact materials, written terms, and how additional work is approved.
Turn a blank into a specific question
Pick the first item you could not confirm. Write the contractor a question that names the roof area and the work. For example: “Does this price include replacing the flashing along the garage wall, or would that be priced separately?”
When the answer changes the scope, ask for it in the written proposal. Then update your worksheet. You are building an accurate comparison, one answer at a time.
Bring the unanswered questions
If you would like Maverick to look over the comparison, keep both proposals and your unresolved questions together. Start with our quote-review option; the team will confirm how to share the documents. This worksheet does not upload them.
For a broader explanation of estimate components, see the main Maverick Exteriors site’s roof estimate guide. This page is the working comparison tool.
